These SMS Terms of Service (“SMS Terms”) govern the text messaging (“SMS”) communications provided by Colleyville Dermatology (“we,” “us,” “our”) to you. By providing your mobile number and opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

1) Program Description
If you opt in, Colleyville Dermatology may send SMS messages to your mobile number for purposes such as:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Scheduling, rescheduling, and check-in instructions
- Care-related communications (e.g., follow-up instructions, patient service updates)
- Billing and payment notifications
- Prescription and pharmacy coordination
- Office announcements (e.g., closures or urgent updates)
2) How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages by:
- Providing your mobile number to our staff and confirming you want to receive texts; and/or
- Responding affirmatively to an opt-in request text (when applicable).
Consent to receive texts is not required to receive medical care, purchase goods/services, or schedule an appointment.
3) Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with our office and your preferences. For example, you may receive messages related to upcoming appointments and care coordination.
4) Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5) How to Opt Out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you text STOP, we will send a confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program/number (unless you opt in again).

6) Supported Carriers
Our SMS program may not be available on all mobile carriers or in all areas. Message delivery is subject to your carrier’s network availability and other factors outside our control.
7) Privacy and Security
We respect your privacy. We will use your mobile number and SMS communications in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Important: Text messages may not always be secure. Please do not send sensitive medical information (such as detailed symptoms, photos, Social Security numbers, or full insurance information) by text unless we specifically request it through a secure method. If you have an urgent medical issue, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

8) Eligibility
By opting in, you represent that:
- You are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided; and
- You are at least 18 years old (or have a parent/guardian’s consent).
9) Changes to These SMS Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Your continued participation in the SMS program after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
